If only there were markets in Japan selling good street food like that. I know you can get yakitori, soba, udon, takoyaki and a few other things in the street her, but there is nothing that comes close to the street markets of South East Asia.
Does anyone know where you can get a good penang laksa in Japan?

The obvious solution is to write a cookbook including all these treasured recipes, or move it inside to air conditioning and charge 7 times as much..

spent quite a few summers there back in the 70's...............the street foods were marvelous.

I enjoyed some great food there a few years ago and would love to go again. Wish there were such places here in Japan.

Was there 2 years ago and dont see what all the fuss is about. The food was mediocre at best.
