Fans of cute characters in Japan are usually spoilt for choice when it comes to themed cafes featuring adorable dishes inspired by their faves. Especially iconic character-creating company Sanrio, lend their beloved designs to various collab cafes inspired by Hello Kitty, Gudetama, My Melody and so on. But sadly, due to current events most of these eateries are being postponed or restricted.
But the good news is that thanks to these super cute Sanrio desserts available in convenience stores and supermarkets, you can experience all the joy of themed food in the comfort and safety of your own home.
Two of Sanrio’s most popular and cutest creations, Pompompurin and Cinnamoroll are getting the honor of gracing our dessert plates as some sugary treats.
Pompompurin, a beret-donning pudding-dog hybrid, usually appears when in food form as pudding flavored treats. Firstly there’s the Pompompurin tarte, a creamy, classic pudding sat atop a tarte base.

Or there’s pudding flavored crepes to be had, with four different expressions on the packaging to collect.

Cinnamoroll fans can go for a cute pastel colored parfait, made with custard mousse and strawberry whipped cream, with a fluffy milk pudding whip to create the character himself.

These adorable Sanrio desserts are available in various supermarkets and convenience stores across Japan.

Finally! I needed a new way to part with 500yen.
King Of Pringles
One would think with the name "Cinnamoroll" the dessert would be cinnamon based or at least have a pinch in it
