Pringles releases a limited-edition sweet flavor in Japan

Pringles is a global brand sold in over 140 countries, but not all of its flavors are available everywhere. This makes the brand’s limited-edition varieties highly sought after, and now Japan has been chosen to receive one of those limited-edition flavors, with the release of the Pringles Butter Caramel.

This is exciting news for Pringles fans in Japan, as many of them have long been raving about the flavor after trying it in South Korea, where it became incredibly popular. The sweet flavor has become widely known through posts and videos on social media, so even those who haven’t tried the flavor before will now be able to try it once it lands in Japan.

Surprisingly, the flavor was previously available here, but only 10 years ago, so it’s now ready to be unleashed on a whole new generation of snack lovers. Upon first bite, the richness of butter and the sweet taste of caramel is said to spread over the palate, creating a luxurious, melt-in-the-mouth flavor that’s perfectly suited to the winter season.

After previously pairing a sweet treat with whiskey, we’re not entirely convinced that this will be a good partner for alcohol, but we’re still keen to try it when it’s released at stores around Japan from November 11.

Very unappealing to me I’m afraid. I have eaten Pringles on a few occasions however I don’t find them please t at all, they seem to have an artificial after taste. I would always prefer to eat regular crisps, only as a treat of course as these are not healthy types of snacks you see.

less exciting bacomes when you read about conents written with micro letters at back...pure lab and disaster for health...

My partner still makes crisps sometimes in the air fryer with the method you showed. Always the bestest, I love with Himalayan Pink Salt, fresh is the best.

Homemade chips too, my son won’t eat frozen fries at home now he always insists on “Dad’s English chips” lol.

I make my chips in the air fryer without oil. Rotating basket.

I put a bit of oil on mine, i sea sin them first. Usually chip spice from Hull or a I make my own Masala mix which I serve with chillies and coriander on top and with a spicy tomato curry sauce, sometimes accompanied with. Somosas or chicken tikka. You know me I love me curries, luckily they both do too.

I stopped buying Pringles when they lied to me. They tried to sell me a product described as "new". The only thing new was the size of the carton. What they really meant was not "new" but smaller. 110gm down from 140gm. Regular crisps are much better, Calbi are hard to beat.

Would prefer salt n vinegar. Why is that unavailable in Japan but this sweet concoction is a ok.
