At the hotel’s main dining room, The Tavern - Grill & Lounge, enjoy casual French Bistro fare in Andaz fashion. The Tavern Lounge offers a refreshing Lemongrass Afternoon Tea in September. At the Rooftop Bar, mixologists add a unique twist to whiskey highballs with tea infusions. BeBu focuses on specialty sausages, creating a range of a la carte and dinner plan menus. At the Pastry Shop, fragrant lemongrass sweets are the highlight of September.

Lemongrass Afternoon Tea

This autumn, The Tavern - Grill & Lounge takes a more casual approach with a dinner menu inspired by the classic French Bistro. Trained at Michelin-starred French restaurants, let our chef transport you to the casual eateries of France as you create your own prix fixe menu from a selection of mouthwatering offerings. For your first course, try the Jambon Persille, a flavorful terrine of pork and gelatin, served with homemade pickles and a tangy Gribiche sauce. Entrées include premium Australian lamb served with ratatouille wrapped in smoked bacon, and rich veal belly pot au feu, baked in a clay pot with cabbage and seasonal root vegetables. The Andaz Steak Frites features Australian Grain Fed Sirloin, grilled to perfection using our lava stone broiler grill.

Lemongrass Afternoon Tea

Price: 4,200 yen on weekdays, 4,500 yen on weekends and holidays

The Tavern Lounge features refreshing lemongrass in September’s afternoon tea. Known for its healing and cooling effects, lemongrass is the perfect ingredient to keep you refreshed in the heat of early fall. Savor the aroma of meatballs seasoned with lemongrass, with added texture from lemongrass leaves. From the sweet menu, the Lemongrass Tart is a delightful combination of lemongrass cream paired with crispy puff pastry. Lemongrass Panna Cotta combines three kinds of herbs - lemongrass, lemon verbena, and rosemary - creating a harmony of fragrances. The chef’s creation of savory and sweet bites match perfectly with the selection of premium teas.

Tea Infused Highballs

Rooftop Bar offers a unique take on whiskey-based highballs this autumn. Infusing premium whiskey with teas from around the world, mixologists combine classic Japanese autumn ingredients including mushrooms, autumn grapes, chestnuts and persimmons to create unique highballs full of flavor and aroma. With anti-aging and wellness benefits, butterfly beauty tea derived from Southeast Asia forms the base of the Butterfly Pea x Grape Highball, highlighted by autumn flavors of grapes and cassis.

Andaz Oktoberfest

BeBu brings tastes of autumn with an original Oktoberfest plan and a la carte menu featuring specialty sausage from around the world. As part of the seasonal dinner plan, enjoy a variety of sausage dishes including a hearty potato salad with Weisswurst sausage from Germany, and an original grilled pork sausage mini burger. Offered a la carte, try a selection of five gourmet hot dogs from around the world.

The Chicago style hot dog with smoked sausage is dressed up Andaz style with sweet pickles, sliced tomatoes, onions, corn and a generous topping of American mustard. Viva Italiano features Parma ham, cherry tomato salsa and marinated olives. Fragrant basil and refreshing tomatoes bring out the smokiness of the sausage, with a pop of color reminiscent of Italy. The Munich hot dog is a Weisswurst sausage topped with corned beef, red cabbage sauerkraut, chunky potatoes and thinly sliced sautéed onions. Pair with a chilled craft beer and a seat on the patio for the perfect fall al fresco meal.
