The Shangri-La's renowned moon cakes are now on sale at Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo. These signature moon cakes are created with an original recipe from Hong Kong, where all the Shangri-La moon cakes sell out even before being put on sale. Guests can enjoy the full moon with friends and family with Shangri-La’s traditional moon cakes, or use them as gifts, as the moon cakes are presented in a beautiful red box and matching paper bag.

A box of eight moon cakes consists of two pieces each of four different flavors – Red Bean, Mixed Nuts, Himalayan Blend Tea with Honey and Earl Grey with Yuzu. Red Bean and Mixed Nuts are traditional moon cake flavors made in accordance with Shangri-La’s original recipe. Himalayan Blend Tea with Honey and Earl Grey with Yuzu are original flavors that are only available at Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo. The blended teas, which are used as ingredients for the new flavors, are exclusively served in the hotel’s Lobby Lounge.

A box of eight moon cakes is available for 3,500 yen (including tax).

Guests can buy the moon cakes at the hotel as well as online at www.shangri-la.jp.
