Appears to be missing the following ingredients to make it work out: nutmeg (1 teaspoon), 1/2 cup brown sugar (and cut back on the granulated sugar to a 1/2 cup), and good bourbon (2 tablespoons - maybe three, but a shot's worth of bourbon is overkill), and a 1/2 cup of melted butter.
