Grilled veggies are great but note the cooking time, 16 to 18 minutes!! That's some patient barbequing if you're doing this alongside yakiniku which is done in 90 seconds.

With slow to cook veggies that can't be eaten raw, thick slices of onion, pumpkin, zucchini etc, it can be worth microwaving first to soften them up and then just charring the outside.
