'Harry Potter' finale, part 1, leads year-end film lineup

I'm sure they mean summer lineup, because that's probably when most of these are released here, if at all.

Moderator: The first part of Harry Potter will open in Japan on Nov 11.

You've gotta love British "kiddie" films. They start off dark, and then progress towards black and horrific. Compare to traditional American "kiddie" cinema where everything just has to turn out more or less OK for everybody at the end.

Glad to hear Potter will be in two parts. That gives them a chance to do the books justice. Now, I hope they actually did do the books justice.

And I will skip True Grit. Who greenlighted that? John Wayned movies should not be remade. Just.... no.

Actually True Grit is based on the novel. Jeff Bridges is the best choice for that.

Yogi Bear? Didn't he used to play for the Yankees? I tell you, it's deja vu all over again with all these remakes and sequels.

I will skip Harry Potter and anything that is dubbed. How many choices does that leave me?

Oh. And I will skip True Grit. Who greenlighted that? John Wayned movies should not be remade. Just.... no.
