You still can pass the illness, you can still get ill, you need boosters every 3 months, you may get myocarditis, some places still force you to comply with the circus. Get it if you want and makes you feel better but I ain't getting that thing myself.

You have lower risk of passing the illness, you get much lower risk to get it and to complicate or die from getting it, not everybody needs a booster and you get a higher risk of myocarditis from not vaccinationg.

Calling the scientific consensus a circus only makes obvious the personal bias about anybody that can clearly prove something you don't want to accept.

"Articles" like this one are getting more laughable by the day,

What part of the article can you demonstrate as false or misleading? The opinion of the experts is well sustained there, that is reliable information even if you refuse to accept it.

And there's no explanation as to why the numbers volunteering for a shot are plummeting.

People make bad decisions about their health all the time for many reasons, the risks from covid have been reduced very importantly thanks to effective measures that include vaccination, people can feel the risk is not there for them anymore and do the convenient thing, the same as happens with diet or lifestyle, people overeating and being sedentary in high percentages do not make the science proving this is much more risky wrong.

The vast majority of us have already been infected with omicron, and therefore already have a significant level of long lasting immunity.

As long as the level of risk decreases with the boosters it means there is that risk in the first place, if the booster helps with that in a safe and effective way then that is still the best option.

The current variant is so much milder than earlier ones

But it still kills people every day, something boosters can completely help reducing.

Accumulating data continues to show that for young (under 60) and healthy people, the risks from the vaccines are greater than from the virus, even for earlier variants.

No, it does not, in fact is the opposite, only widely debunked reports try to make this point but fortunately science only works out in the open, so the fraudulent flawed reasons antivaxxer groups try to push are quickly and easily recognized as invalid.

And there's no explanation as to why the numbers volunteering for a shot are plummeting. Wouldn't be anything to do with short-lived efficacy or the nasty side-effects that narrative pushers try to downplay or simply ignore, would it?

Yes, that plus:

"Articles" like this one are getting more laughable by the day, reading more like desperate propaganda, begging people to get the jab, than informative news. There are no comments from anyone who's had a previous jab but won't be getting this one, or their reasons why not. Just a handful of selected comments parroting the narrative.

And there's no explanation as to why the numbers volunteering for a shot are plummeting. Wouldn't be anything to do with short-lived efficacy or the nasty side-effects that narrative pushers try to downplay or simply ignore, would it? And the corporate media, governments and covid vax makers wonder why public trust in them sits below that of used-car salesmen and game show hosts.

Do I really need ‘another’ booster?

According to scientific data being booster reduces the risk even for people that have been infected before, you would "need" this in the same way that people need to improve their lifestyles when they get diabetes for example.

People have woken up to the fact that the vaccines don't stop transmission and are unlikely to change the severity of what is for most now a runny nose and headache for a couple of days.

The experts have clearly demonstrated the value of vaccines, and people still die from what your "runny nose", if you believe clearly disproved false information then the ones that need to wake up are not those that can accept without problem what the science demonstrates.

“When I saw the new booster was able to tackle Omicron variant I thought, ‘I’m doing that,’” Gucwa said. “I don’t want to deal with Omicron again. I was kind of thrilled to see the boosters were updated.”

Well, apart from one day in bed with it, I was fine.

I’ve been out many times sans mask and seem to have immunity.

Do I really need ‘another’ booster?

I’m fine thanks…

These "experts" need to get away from their laptops and talk to people.

So you think personally talking with millions of people will be a more efficient way to predict how strong demand will be? because just going around randomly talking with a couple dozen people will not do it. That is the whole point of making epidemiological studies and such, to have an objective basis for a conclusion that is not biased by a tiny inadequate sampling.

A lot of double jabbed and triple jabbed people have had enough and are refusing the endless stream of boosters.

How many are "a lot"? what percentage of the population that are the target for inoculation? I mean, your point is that you have better data than the experts, right? else how can you criticize them saying it is too early to make a prediction?
