Well that is good newd that heart disease deaths are falling. I hope we make progress on cancer and then we can all die of old age.

I guess we have poluted our environment to such a degree that our bodies cannot fight off all the environmental carcinogens anymore. And everyone is worried about global warming. I'm also depressed by the trillions of dollars we spend to create weapond to destroy life instead of medicines to save lives. Humans are totally messed up and won't last much longer.

The higher cancer rates reflect longer lives and survival past childhood. I understand our odds of cancer double every ten years.

The older you get, the greater your risk of cancer. It's easier for an individual to control some elements that cause heart disease, less so with cancer.

In the UK dementia is the biggest cause of death.
