For whatever reason, older Americans may be more inclined to eat poorly. As with most Americans, seniors will not get enough exercise. Poor diet and lack of exercise seems like a recipe for disaster.

A big problem in some nursing homes where cost is the deciding factor in feeding the "guests' who have no influence or say in what they are fed.
