Drinking 32 ounces of energy drink is associated with potentially harmful changes

Stands to reason. Drinking 32oz of anything will affect you in some way. Milk - you'll get the runs; coffee - you'll get the jitters; beer - you'll get a bit drunk; spirits - you'll get alcohol poisoning; processed juice - you'll get a sugar rush; water - you'll get to pee more...

My advice (unsolicited) is: Don't drink 32oz of any one liquid other than water over one day.

Always tell my friends that Red Bull, etc are not ''energy'' drinks at all. Just some sugar, too much caffeine and synthetic vitamins, but they refuse to listen. At the end of a long night of drinking, my heavy daily cardio workouts always leave me fresher and with more energy than any b.s. out of a can. Better off drinking 100% acai, pomegranate, etc, juices than that crap.

Just drink 100% orange juice and water and, eat a banana. You'll get all the glucose and minerals you need. That drink 'Monster' is responsible for over 20 deaths worldwide in the last few years. It also tastes like crap! I'd also put green tea on the same list. Yes, it has good antioxidant properties, but it is also a diuretic and will dehydrate you very quickly. One glass of green tea before is good for you, but drinking it all day will make you dehydrated and ill.
