Gave up smoking 49 years ago, but I still miss it. Nevertheless, living and breathing is preferable.

I quit for like my 14th time 12 years ago after inhaling cigars, which I totally loved to do...that sugar sweet taste...yummy, but have not looked back. That massive asthma attack while smoking a Panama stogie hospitalized me. yikes....but I can still taste that sweet dream.

I had reduced my intake but the stress of a bereavement broke my resolve. Hope to bring it back down, soon.

Big Yen, I do the same thing. If someone is smoking, I will walk through their vapor trail in order to get a whiff.
Both my parents passed from cancer, which makes it easier for me to stay away from cigs, as much as I enjoyed them.
Used to smoke unfiltered Pall Malls. Dad switched to filtered cigarettes, but it didn't work. Maybe it delayed the onset of cancer.
