Young children are more likely to demand specific sugary cereals for breakfast when they have seen television ads for these products, a U.S. study suggests.

No kidding. Would not be worth advertising if it didn't.

Tv ads AND lazy parenting. Kids do/eat what their parents do/eat. If you sit down with them for breakfast, have 'real' fresh bread, real butter/jam and no crappy choco cereals chances are your kids won't demand the sugary cereals they saw on tv.
