"more likely to move on to marijuana" Real scientists understand that correlation is not causation. It is risk-taking behaviour, not vaping, that is a precursor, as it accounts for both behaviours.

That was exactly my conclusion from reading the opening paragraph, and knowing that from then on there would be little value, if any in the article, other than as an example of both poor journalism and bad science.

So... that’s a good thing, right?

All I read from the pro-pot crowd is that it’s nothing compared to evil alcohol, and may even cure cancer.

It needn't necessarily be a bad thing. Alcohol is much more harmful than marijuana, yet it is the latter that is illegal. However, because of its illegality, far stronger versions have been bred with a much higher THC content, which is linked to a rise in schizophrenia and some other mental health disorders. It should be legalised and controlled, just like alcohol.
