Vaccine targeting ticks may offer protection against Lyme and other tick-borne diseases

I highly recommend Sawyer permethrin spray for clothes and tents to take care of ticks. Works wonders as an easy preventative precaution.

It seems too soon to say if this will be an effective measure or not, but at least it is something very interestingto research, tick borne diseases are numerous and quite dangerous, if a single vaccine can reduce the risk from all of them at the same time it would be a huge advance.
