A faster and vastly more effective treatment for drug-resistant tuberculosis is being rolled out in the Asia-Pacific region, raising hopes of a "new era" in tackling one of the world's deadliest infectious diseases.

It's incredible this disease is still so devastating and the failure of the WHO in various areas where it looked over tackling this problem continues.

What can WHO do when they are faced with militants who shoot their doctors and staff who trying to inoculate people in Africa and some Muslim nations?

They do have a TB vaccine, but it not the cure all,TB patient in America are quarantined, even by court order, they are really supposed to socialize with others, because of the contagious nature of the disease

It is not a responsibility of the WHO to magic resources out of thin air to solve every health problem, pretending the world's public health authority can solve things with supposedly infinite resources is not a logical proposition, instead you can only compare how much has it done with other organizations and see the actual value of the activities.
