My old doctor swore that aspirin was fantastic (except if you have any sort of viral infection! then stop taking it!), and that all men over 40 should take a little aspirin every day. It's good for a lot of things and does no harm.

Your old doctor may be too old to listen to, Frungy. Aspirin can cause excessive bleeding in some cases and certainly isn't something that all men should blanket self-prescribe.

That said, my instincts would prompt me to choose aspirin over warfarin (rat poison) if a prescription were needed. A doctor ordered to strong a dose of warfarin for an elderly aunt of mine and it caused blindness.

Natto is safer than aspirin or rat poison. A member of our family was on blood thinners and ended up with bleeding on the brain twice! Took her off it and gave her nattokinase and no troubles since.

Natto is safer than aspirin or rat poison.

But unfortunately not as tasty.
