It may seem obvious that this would be the case, after all people may feel their contributions were in vain if they never get any feedback, but it is nice to see it confirmed with proper studies.
It is also good to see marketing being used for something as positive as this instead of just trying to make people spend more money as usual.
Trapped
It was the discovery that my hard-earned plasma was being sold with no compensation for me other than a cookie that stopped me from making any more donations.
