Actually not, seems scientist have known for a long time that bats in caves in Africa have thousands of viruses to include Ebola and HIV and the jump from bats to humans was inevitable. From humans selling and eating bush meat, to bats biting chickens then they are slaughtered on the spot, need to back up and look at the source.

I had a pneumonia vaccine. Would it help in this case?
Afraid not. People are not dying from secondary bacterial infections. They are dying from COVID, Immune response sequelae harming the lungs, Just like SARS.
