This is only a problem because the mental health "experts" are totally incapable of actually doing anything about it.

So, it's a problem because it's a problem...

Notice how the morons who criticize the WORLD Health Organization are never able to explain how said organization was supposed to fulfill its mandate of overseeing the WORLD health, after having its access to 1/5 of the people in the WORLD revoked due to having taken the political stance of declaring Taiwan a nation?
I notice.

The response did that, not the virus!

No it does not, that is a forced misrepresentation that do not reflect the myriad of problems observed even on countries that have not severe restrictions.
Like in the whole world? that would be the same then for every other problem, it may be tempting to think everything can be solved like in fiction, but in reality a lot of things have no realistic solution.
Personal opinions based on exactly zero evidence have no weight whatsoever, if you can't prove measures are ineffective or unnecessary then your argument is irrelevant. How many unnecessary deaths would make people feel better?

Good thing these positive cases aren't being repeatedly and persistently reported in the media. The media's obsession on reporting positive cases could be linked to mental health problems!

To the contrary to most over the past two years, I traveled more by bike, been outside more, my wife and I had our second daughter last year, worked on line more as well as off line, learned a new skill, and earned a vedic science degree. Took this pandemic as a chalange and it never bothered me because just as smallpox, polio, and others pandemics this too shall pass and it makes us stronger.

COVID-19 has negligible effect on mental health, it is the constant stream of fear based propaganda and economic damage which has caused anxiety and depression If you are a supporter of restrictions on people's lives you share this blame.

Being informed is extremely important, people can make much better decisions if they are aware of how the disease is spreading in the population and even abandon irrational fears thanks to this, people that fear information and want to live in denial are not an appropiate example of mental health.
Provide evidence for this, specially that the sudden loss of several family members or friends from the disease has "negligible effect" on people.
Restrictions and other measures are not a perfect solution without downsides, they are just less negative than letting the disease spread freely so health services become swamped and not only people die of COVID but also from other health problems that would have been treated with ease.

Japan’s men look stressed but these men like Reckles and Fujiwara-san show courage to face life. Take care of your families and take care of yourself.
