A Broadway actor has had his leg amputated due to Covid-19 blood clot

"Actor Nick Cordero has leg amputated because of COVID-19"

On Saturday, Cordero’s 18th day in the intensive care unit, blood clots in his right leg were inhibiting circulation. The blood thinners he was given for the clotting issues were affecting his blood pressure and causing bleeding in his intestines, Kloots said. That led to the decision to amputate the leg.
