But I believe that simply getting up and walking the aisle, even if to just go to the bathroom a couple of times during a long flight, makes a big difference.

I understand wiggling your toes while sitting also helps.

I don't think their necessity or benefit is completely proven. Probably can't hurt of you're concerned.
