With a monkey ?

This unexpected sudden jump in monkeypox, notably in Europe, is no monkey-business, it is real and highly life-threatening.
Must develop an effective vaccine at the earliest..

Those rave parties are sweaty, grimy drug-fueled orgies and chances of sex actions are fairly high at least. But this is no cause or excuse for a ''gay panic' or gay-bashing hysteria like what happened in the US during the 80s and 90s. And monkeypox is not AIDS.
But just watch, the US news talking heads on say Faux News are probably going to shriek hysterically and start a witch hunt on the gays or bisexuals. They love to stir up hysteria to a public looking for somebody to hate and an excuse to do so. it makes them feel good.

Starpunk...
Agreed, it's not fair to blame the gays or ravers.... Much of the fault lies with the monkeys.

That raucous noise in the distance is BIG PHARMA cheering as their stock prices begin to soar again... fortunately, Smallpox vaccine can protect against Monkey pox.

WHO also says "Transmission via droplet respiratory particles usually requires prolonged face-to-face contact".

One vaccine, JYNNEOSTM (also known as Imvamune or Imvanex), has been licensed in the United States to prevent monkeypox and smallpox. Because monkeypox virus is closely related to the virus that causes smallpox, smallpox vaccine can also protect people from getting monkeypox.

@starpunk Please don't try to deflect the fact of where the issue is and where it came from, just learn from the fact and own it!

Bottom line, to protect yourself and others, be sure to get vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19.
