So basically COVID is the flu. I’m getting ready for the second wave of media hysterics

No, that is a mistake, uncomplicated mild COVID infection is like the flu. The huge difference is how likely the COVID ends up with complications that even endanger the life. The article is obviously speaking about the period of time when both diseases could be confused, once in the ICU the difference is obvious.

Not really, and I agree with virusrex on this.
That said, this virus is not nearly as dangerous for the vast majority of us, and I don't think it warrants the lockdowns and economic destruction that governments have wrought on the world in the name of suppressing it.

One shuts down entire countries and destroys lives. The other doesn't.

Reading a few scientific papers from Oxford medical school. Corona virus was mentioned for decades in relation to common cold. Also those pcr test were used to test for common cold as well for decades. Overall dead numbers are not higher compares to previous years in any country. So... What's the conclusion here? If there would be no panic making via TV, media or internet or those 3 would not even exist nobody would actually see anything out of ordinary... Isn't it? People need to start to think for themselves and start doing sensable own research in this matter.

You feel sicker in the first week of the flu? I’ve never had a flu that lasted more than 3 or 4 days.

Coronavirus is a group of viruses. Your mistake is thinking they are all the same one and produce the same disease. That would be as bad as thinking HIV was nothing because retroviruses were already known before or that Ebola is not dangerous because there are other filoviruses that cannot infect humans.
"Coronavirus" is NOT the name of the virus producing the pandemic.
And no, medical professionals say things are not just "appearing" different but actually there is a huge public health problem.
I recommend you to read some more about what you want to talk about, that will let you understand correctly.

Right!
Let’s get tested but the tests are not being given. In fact, the go home and wait until your symptoms are worse, is the order of the day, unless you are a member of the Gikai, in which case, just the merest hint of exposure will see your same day test magically appear!
