My understanding is that asymptomatics (except presymptomatics) are not very contagious, if at all.
virusrex
Studies variate, but the current consensus is that asymptomatic carriers have about two thirds of the risk of spreading the disease as one fully symptomatic person. Being less contagious is not the same as being "not very contagious"
Raw Beer
Does that include presymptomatics?
virusrex
asymptomatic that never develop any symptoms have about one third of the risk, presyntomatics are the one that have 2/3 of the risk.
Raw Beer
Do you have a link for that?

the different studies are well known, this takes a relatively low estimate to increase the confidence.

Asymptomatic and pre symptomatic carriers don't cough as much so don't spread it as much as a symptomatic carrier however everyone who has covid-19 can spread it.

It is still not clear with those daily exponentially rising numbers all over the globe? Are you somewhat stupid or so? Up to 70 days the virus can be spread to other people even while having no own detected symptoms during that infection period. That’s much longer than being infected from viruses on surfaces or dead contaminated corona patients , 28 days, 39 days resp. Now guess, if they all sit and play together concentrated in kindergarten or school rooms what will probably happen on at least one of that days? And what will happen then when they afterwards return home every day? They are no major source of contagion but one with a higher probability of spreading the virus around.
