A further complication related to the content of the article is that people can damage their cardiovascular health because of their diet even without any eating disorder, for some this can come even as as a consequence of being mislead into thinking unhealthy diets are beneficial.

Is a study that shows how a diet based on protein can have a negative effect on health and may increase the risk of cardiovascular problems, or as the authors conclude "These data demonstrate a mechanistic basis for the adverse impact of excessive dietary protein on cardiovascular risk."
