When you make Britain's useless government look nimble and decisive then you know you've had a bad few weeks.
Whilst leaving the EU will probably be bad for the UK in the short and long term, this is one instance where the glacial bureaucracy of the EU won't be missed.

Partly agree but Britain is one of the worst hit countries in the world. The government was desperate to find a quick way out. There is a lot bureaucracy in the EU and sadly little transparency. An urgent reform in the EU is needed.

They simply were stupidly greedy and much too late, with no sense for business and knowledge how the markets work. The countries that ordered fast and even paid about 7-times the price that the EU was ready to ‘invest’, all those have got their deliveries fast and their population already partly vaccinated.
