If I have a bowl of curry and a nan bread for lunch, its all getting eaten.

Are these folk telling me the speed I eat it will make a difference?

No way hose!

True the slower you eat, the less you eat. Because you feel full.

But trust me...the lot is going down.

If you eat the curry and naan slowly you ‘ll more likely rise from the table feeling full and satisfied. If you eat quickly, same amount, you ‘re less likely to feel satisfied, and either order dessert or crave a snack mid-afternoon.

Bin der dun dat!

How to slowly eat school lunch? They only give you 15 minutes to eat since the students served it so slowly.

ummm what a load of bollocks ... Everyone in my family are over 190cm tall and like stick insects and they drink their meals, I do not think I have seen anyone in my family chew more then twice!

Why is this article even being printed in a Japanese newspaper - trying to find a fat person in Japan is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

It’s not so common to find obese people in Japan but I’d say at least a quarter of my coworkers are overweight. Quite a few flabby bellies around.

I think standards have changed. I remember a doctor telling me that 30 years ago, I’d be regarded as average build. These days people call me slim or even skinny ( I’m 184cm in height and 75kg ).

Watched Captain Fantastic with Viggo Mortensen the other night. One of the better movies I've seen in a while. Anyway, he plays a home schooling survivalist with 6 kids. When he takes them into town the kids ask why all the people look sick because their all so fat. Too funny.

No decent meal breaks in this country, eating a meal in 15 minutes is not good for you.
