Right onn!! Can’t see why a good looking guy would chose only to have 1 partner.

Buddha already said it very long time ago.

With the high divorce rates in Western countries, men losing large amounts of their wealth via the divorce courts - its safer for men to remain single, play the field than to commit.

Being single was fun, but nearly 20 years into marriage I have zero regrets. Going home to my wife and kids gives me a warm heart. I was away from them for a few months this year, and it was interesting being on my own, but being reunited with my family just confirmed that I love being with them.

This study doesn't account for behavioral differences between single and married men. Like Reckless said, more drinking, smoking and generally unhealthy behavior.

Believe it or not, being single does get old, especially when the guy gets older. Single life was great, and I put off marriage for as long as I could (if not quite as long as I wanted). But kids and a family provide a comforting stability, as well as the motivation to work harder. If I had worked that hard when I was single, I would have been rich early on (or would have spent a whole lot more drinking and partying).

I would guess marriages would be better most of the time, but so many end in divorce these days so one could also say having BEEN married CAUSED them to become horribly miserable!

Would have liked a breakdown of the never married into those that WANTED to marry but couldn't & those that WANTED to be single, I bet the later group would easily top everyone else!
