No stranger: The person writing the article has no real life experience. Did they include the smokers of drugs of tobacco. No They are working off numbers that pertain to a certain drugs. Tobacco is a worst drug to smoke because it is highly addictive and causes death and should be included. It a BS article that pertain to only a very small sector of humanity. Trying to turn a Pig ear into something important. This article should be in a medical journal. It is not major news. More people die on the road from the cause of transport and alcohol. Do we demonise the road users and alcohol drinkers. No. If they want to smoke, it their life and the number of people dying from the act are clogging up hospital are all from Tobacco and alcohol related not from smoking speed, cocaine and opium. If you against recreational drug using you should have tobacco and alcohol at the top of your list for they do the most damage to society. I bet the writer of this article par takes in either or both for number involve in tobacco and alcohol to work off are in the billions and give a true indicator of the number of deaths involve in drug smoking.

Well there's a scientific study with no logic holes if I ever heard one. It definitely holds more validity than any study, supported with numbers and data.

Yes, one or two glasses with a fine meal, now and then.
Some people don't like Alcohol I get it, but a typical beer according to German limits German beer brewers to just four ingredients: malt, hops, yeast, and water.
In contrast to the hard and harsh chemicals that are in there including gasoline, and getting involved with some shady drug dealer, I don't need to deal with these lowlives, just go to a restaurant, buy a good meal, and nice beer, and then go home.

BS. What about tabaco smokers. Another BS article. Billions of people smoke drugs everyday and no evidence of dead bodies all over the streets.

Oh, so you do partake in hard drugs. Alcohol is one of the hardest drugs, it just happens to be legal in most places.
I personally wouldn't even touch a drop of alcohol myself. I'm entirely drug-free thanks,
bass4funk
Yes.
Well, thanks, but no thanks for that educational awareness.
Ok, well you enjoy whatever stuff you want to use, I'll enjoy my craft beer.
Strangerland
Good for you bruh.
But seeing as you were lacking in some knowledge:
I've now educated as to what the allure is:

Germany legalizes cannabis including the growing.

Well, that's nice, never did, and never will, no need, if people think I am missing out, oh, well...if I want pleasure, I'll get high going to the gym, the endorphins are plenty for me
Strangerland
I live a plant-forward diet, but even the best veggie delight isn't even in the same realm of pleasure as morphine after a surgery.
bass4funk
That’s ok, would rather indulge in a bowl of healthy veggies that makes me feel a whole lot better.

It's not hard to understand, they feel really, really, REALLY good.
bass4funk
Never understood the allure of hard drugs.

As an ex-smoker of 30 years, I encourage all people to keep their lungs just for breathing.

The marginalised find a way to cope, even if not always rationally. They have been traumatised by their upbringing and circumstances. No attention, no care, no love. But those who mock them are likely similar in important respects.

The injectors were also getting heart valve infections, which were extremely costly to fix. I guess two steps forward, one step back.
Sven Asai
So the experts' advice is to inject them instead. We feel very much relieved now, don't we?

It's not going down any time soon as we've tried some legalization and ended up with a bunch of homeless camps and property crime.

And then there's tranq, which turns people into zombies while their flesh rots away:

Also found in fentanyl etc, and, as yet, an uncontrolled substance in the US, as it's commonly used in the vet industry.

The US has 20 million opioid addicts compared with the UK 2017, 60,000. Opioids are a major problem in many countries along with Fentanyl.
"Opioid use was reported as the main reason for entering specialized drug treatment by 71,000 clients in 2021, representing 25 % of all those entering drug treatment in Europe. Heroin was the primary drug for 10,000 (74 %) of the 16,000 first-time entrants who reported a specific opioid as their main problem drug."
zibala
The UK has the largest opioid using population in Europe, as that society continues its downward spiral.

We learned this from the previous JT article.

Any form of smoking over many decades is not the best choice.
NotThe One
Any kind of smoking puts you at risk of breathing complications which means if the drugs do not kill you from an overdose or the side effects, then the ruining of your lungs will.
