Oh yea, then it will be time for those booster shots.

Herd immunity is the way...

Naaah, the pandemic will end with or without any vaccine.

No, herd immunity is the goal, vaccines is the safe and effective way, letting the pandemic run its course is the excess of preventable deaths way.

Naaah, the pandemic will end with or without any vaccine.

In a few dozens human generations yeah sure, but the rest of the world would consider that (and the uncountable of excess deaths) unnaceptable.

A pandemic lasting a few dozen generations?!!! That's just silly.

It will be over very soon, unless we keep everyone locked up permanently.

Once again, your personal opinion is not substanciated by anything and contradict the opinion of experts, it can be safely discarded as mistaken.

The pandemic will be over once immunization is generalized and herd immunity reached safely without excess of preventable deaths

Which experts say it last a few dozen generations? Reference needed.

Exactly, that is why we should not lock down when deaths are low, such as in summer. There are ways to achieve herd immunity naturally in a relatively safe way.

No, the part where you think is over very soon without need of vaccination, that is obviously contradicting the experts, you just have to read the article you are commenting in.

On the other part no expert thinks is even remotely possible that vaccination will not become common or that it will be ineffective at controlling the pandemic as antivaxxers wish, so it will be controlled soon thanks to a safe and effective health measure.

Once again not what the experts have said, only your baseless opinion not based on anything objective. The safest, most effective way to avoid preventable deaths is to immunize people, "natural" transmission is in comparison much more risky, even to young and fit people without any comorbidity.
