For each expert and doctor showing proof of the vaccines value in stopping the hospitalizations, deaths or spreading 20 nameless commenters will say that everything is a lie and a conspiracy. It is easy to see how this can fool some people into believing this may be true.

Searching for the most common false rumors and hoaxes frequently end up giving links to supposedly reputable news sites, and following those links you find the hoax is in the comments or in the profile of users, that spoils a lot of the effort being done to report truthful information.

Charles Darwin comes to mind when reading these articles. I'm now beyond caring about the vast majority of deaths of people in developed countries -- the ones who had a choice to save themselves but refused.

I feel quite safe in Japan, with its 80% vax rate, although even that should be higher, and its distancing discipline. Hopefully the omicron will turn out mild and the world (the US, Germany, etc., excluded) can return to normal and I can be sitting on a beach in Thailand next year. In the meantime, I'll be skiing in Japan this winter, with nary a care in the world.

If this means treating patients with drugs proven to offer no benefit , and instead elevate the risk of health problems (like the HCQ and ivermecting you keep trying to push) that is not the reason, that would have the opposite effect even if people refuse to accept this very clear scientific conclusion.

There is no conspiracy theory when the "conspiracy" is there for anybody to see. Just visit the article about Moderna's shot being approved in Japan for a booster and you will find many comments repeating easily debunked information, all done without any worry for consequences. Visiting the profile of many of those people commenting will let you see how all or most of their comments are endless repetitions of the same disinformation, which explains why searching for it leads to the site.

Why didn't Trump encourage wearing masks? He actually had his staff and practically everyone around him remove their masks in his presence including during a Joint Chief of Staff meeting where several of the Generals had to quarantine afterwards. He contracted COVID and exposed his staff and tried to expose Biden during one of the debates where he showed up infected with his family.

Trump also mentioned he wasn't taking a booster vaccination.

"They" did it from the beginning, but only for those drugs that actually showed a benefit, dexamethasone for example is dirt cheap but quickly was found to be effective at treating patients and preventing complications and deaths, and it is regularly used without problem even with other much more expensive drugs available that could be used instead.

So this supposed conspiracy is proved just a product of fantasy, no lives were sacrificed, just drugs that are useless were found that way, even when multiple fraudulent reports tried to push them as if they were miraculous things when in reality they just increase the risk for patients.

Well, that is the thing, it does not. VAERS simply shows equal rates of problems between vaccinated and unvaccinated people, something that antivaxxer propaganda furiously tries to hide to misrepresent the normal occurrence of problems on the population as if it was all related to the vaccines when it is obviously not the case.

The same answer applies, trying to misrepresent anything and everything that happens after vaccination as if it were because of the vaccine is transparent disinformation. This is the opposite of what happens with COVID, where the infection is correlated with huge increments of risk for complications and death when compared with a similar population that is not infected. For the vaccines this huge increase is not there.

That is still false, and based on hiding the same prevalence on unvaccinated people, how come you never provide this? if this was true you would easily be able to provide a rate in excess from what is observed in unvaccinated people.

The link gives several reason why the claim of 150,000 deaths as well as your own are invalid and a misrepresentation meant to deceive people into believing something completely expected from the population vaccinated as if it was extraordinary and only present in vaccinated people, when it is not.
