Some psychiatrists are skeptic of the procedure, because it seems almost "too good to be true", but it appears more and more evidence is accumulating about its efficacy. It is no magic bullet that can cure every patient but if the results being reported now are maintained once more people are subjected to the procedure this means that a very useful tool for the treatment of a serious mental health problem may become widely available in the near future.
