Interesting article but needed more information on the spontaneous simultaneous mutations on the various continents...

Dormitzer said it was encouraging that the vaccine appears effective against the mutation, as well as 15 other mutations the company has previously tested against.

Remember, the clinical trials are also conducted by the drugmakers in conjunction with local regulators
