Of course this is news, I know you detest anything that proves COVID have much more problems than the ones originally identified, but that is a very poor argument to say new risks should be just swept under the rug. People that actually care about public health need this information to be prepared for a possible sudden increase of neurological and intellectual problems since the number of infected people is so huge.
Rich, you ask for studies to prove what you want to push and instead of making a reference to real studies (that find the vaccines as safe and effective) you link to a video without any scientific data. That would make you part of the problem.

Not likely according to the evidence, the report mentions the spike protein as prion-like because of its variable conformations, not because it can self replicate and propagate without control (as the prion-like proteins involved in neurological damage), this conformational changes help during infection but it presents no data that say they have a role in the pathogenicity apart from that. Also, in COVID the data is only of direct cell damage after infection without any plaques or tangles being evident.

Very interesting. I did not know that a diminution of the sense of smell was a recognized precursor and/or symptom of Alzheimer's
I wonder if attempts to enhance the sense of smell could have a beneficial effect for preventing/treating Alzheimer's?

That’s a very strange discussion and cherry-picking. The majority has accepted to ‘live with the virus’, so now damned accept the full package too. Any proposals for a real strict and extinguishing final lockdown are not even once tried out, instead criticized, deleted, censored, silenced. So just learn to suffer and don’t always cry around when anything unexpected occurs or other diseases are of course amplified.

There are studies that are studying “brain fog” , dementia, and Alzheimer’s for a variety of ailments and infections. There always are.
No news there.
How about some thorough studies on Covid-19 vaccines effects. Let’s study on where we are today for example. And keep it simple for some.
