Hey cool. Aspirin, which has been around for a long time, is proving itself to have been quite an amazing invention. I also like that this article touches on the anti-cancer properties as well as the gastric bleeding properties. Thank you for a balanced review of the findings. (Although the article doesn't quote which "large review of scientific studies" it refers to...)

There is really no safe dose of aspirin. People and children have actually died from taking aspirin. A common side effect is intestinal bleeding and others include ulcers, kidney dysfunction and stroke. Aspirin is not a nutrient but an anti-nutrient and depletes the body of folic acid, iron, potassium, sodium and vitamin C. All aspirin does is enable thinner blood to be more easily pushed through clogged arteries. In the end when it comes to preventing cancer, strokes, heart attacks and other illness, by far the best and healthiest plan is to eat a healthy diet and lead an active and healthy lifestyle.
