It isn't just Alzheimer's disease that will be tested for. From what I read in another publication, one test will yield results for many deadly diseases. Sounds good to me!

IMO, we need to give serious thought about how to stop the population explosion of humans. Our fight against disease, and our struggle to make more food, is making it possible to support more and more people on the planet, but is that always a good idea?

There was an article in Scientific American that just one scientific achievement, the discovery of a way to make synthetic nitrogen fertilizer, by German Scientist Fritz Haber, has had a huge effect on the world's population. The article stated that Earth would not be able to support more than 2 billion people without artificial fertilizer. Dr. Haber was given the Nobel Prize for this achievement.
