From all the toxic chemicals in the skin cream products.

I take my hat off to you with the audacity if this claim. Not sure how it will sew division in western society, but I can't blame you for trying.

There are some chemicals commonly used in sunscreens which are harmful, but so is going without any protection.

In all, 84 percent of the 831 sunscreens EWG tested did not pass health and environmental muster. Many contained potentially harmful chemicals like Benzophenone, homosalate and octyl methoxycinnamate (also called octinoxate), which are known to mimic naturally occurring bodily hormones , which are suspected of causing DNA damage when exposed to sunlight.

Worked outdoors all summers in my teens. Always had a deep tan. Got a 2nd degree sunburn as a teen while snow skiing. It was bad for over a month after. Jump forward 30-ish years and I'm always watching every blemish, every dark spot, anything odd on my skin. I stay covered and limit time in direct sun. My skin doesn't tan like it used to.

Most of us have seen the graphic that charts the rise of sunscreen right along with the rise in skin cancer rates. Is it true? I don't know. Diet too can't be ruled out. Particularly the rise in consumption of industrial seed and vegetable oils (high PUFA content) .
