They work well enough on the short term, along with pain meds, until nerves and disc can heal - but 3 a year is considered a "safe" limit.

Acupuncture is not even mentioned here, and that is unfortunate, as this is very helpful, with chronic disc related back pain, together with rehabilitation exercises such as pool walking, to slowly build up back muscles...

Would like to see the whole study and see what the effect is on other back pain problems
