Yeah, the first rule they forgot is : will the brain support the presence of the item ? According to me : no. Psychology show the brain is more sensitive to change and foreign presence that ideal theories could believe first. Many studies have been made on trisomic and low IQ people. A normal and wealthy brain is more defensive and agressive toward the foreign object.
To conclude, for me, implant is not a long term solution.
