And this is why I refuse to live in Osaka or Tokyo -the expressways run right through the cities carrying millions of vehicles everyday...

Not all pollution is visible, but the air can be visibly unpleasant in Madrid and Milan.

I am fully in favor of clean air and water, but in my experience, the air in Europe is not very dirty. I never saw anything there as bad as the air here in the Los Angeles basin.
