At that price Gilead will be happy to pay back the 'financial support from the US government', or 'taxpayer funding' quoted above.

...and the CCP is laughing at the freeworld as we (tax payers and workers) pay through the nose. No need to extinguish the free world by bombs and missiles, just spread a few virus around and we'll all be bankrupted by our own business leaders.

The virus never needed to be particularly dangerous to the health of most people. But it's been a brilliant psychological weapon.

Isn't that the same company who sold Tamiflu vaccine at the deadly pandemic called swine flu. Lol

and this is just the price for the course. add to that the price for treatment. two friends were nose-swabbed at the same hospital: open paid $119 the other got a bill for over $6,500. so, with the US topping the world list of covid infections, it is clear how this is going to pan out. Gilead will hit the jackpot, the (rich) patients will suffer to a lesser degree and the majority won't be able to afford it. what rip-off!

$6,500 for a nose swab? Hope they informed the guy of the cost in advance. And I hope they were made to sign a legal document that the hospital would not use the results in any research without prior notice and permission.

That's a lot of money for something that doesn't work...

Recommended by Dr Fauci, of course.

The US just bought up the global supply of remdesivir, leaving the rest of the world with crumbs. Perfect.

I suspect any vaccine developed anywhere will be hogged by the US too.
