Keto and carnivore are booming.

Vegans and vegetarians must be seething at the mouth while people successfully lose weight eating succulent food.

The meat industry is one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions. Smaller portions of meat mixed larger portions of vegetables is not only healthier but also better for the environment.

These US guidelines are a big fat joke. And I’m not laughing

If you’re an adult, go ahead, eat what you want...

but backers say low-carb's inclusion could influence nutrition advice that doctors give and help shape government food programs like school lunches.

Yeah right. I know who controls the school lunches, the food corporations. A schools whole lunch program delivered frozen in one truck. Processed crap! And I also know who controls those who set the guidelines, the food corporations lobby.

“Pizza is a vegetable” says the US congress because of the tomato sauce. Lobbied heavily by the frozen pizza industry and food delivery corps, so as not to jeopardize their school lunch bidness.

I kid you not

The vast majority of vegetarians and vegans don't do it for weight loss. So I can assure you they aren't "seething at the mouth" at meat eaters losing weight.

Anyway, diets are proven not to work long term, so whatever weight they lose will inevitably come back.

There are no long term studies of the health effects of a keto diet, compared to many studies through many decades of how healthy a vegetarian and vegan diet is.

Now if we're talking about keto vegan, that is better than the traditional keto filled with animal fats and cholesterol, both of which have clearly been shown to lead to heart disease.

If people want to do that, they have that option, I love meat this big guy will continue to eat big portions of tri-tip.
