There are ways to check for this possibility in the laboratory, both using cells and laboratory animals, contrary to the uninformed people ideas there is no need to way for years to be able to say the risk of developing cancer is not elevated for drugs used on short periods.
The drugs you keep pushing (ivermectin and HCQ) are nowhere equally effective, in fact neither have shown any positive effect in the treating of COVID patient that could offset their inherent risks for the health. That would make using them even worse than not using anything.

Yeah, the potential mutagenic effect can appear rapidly in that case. But I worry about the potential long term effects that such a molecule may have on the patients, such as cancers, which will show up years later.
We should stick with those repurposed drugs that are at least equally effective, but have excellent long term safety profiles.
