The Catholic Church and Evangelical churches consider sterilization serious a sin, so I wonder if this procedure will become a target via the Supreme Court?

Roe v. Wade was overturned. Not a “national right to an abortion,” which has never existed in the United States nor was the issue that Roe v. Wade was essentially addressing.

Sterilization rates abruptly spiked after the national right to an abortion was overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court in 2022, a study shows.

Good to see responsible action being taken.

Male sterilization would be the much more responsible action, specially because of the heavily biased reproductive risk when healthcare interventions become unavailable.

Seems the people who are actually making the choices disagree with you:

They found the jump was both higher and more sustained for women than for men.

I truly don't understand sterelization.

First, it is a risk with surgery.

Second it is mutilation, whether you think it or not.

Third, even if reversible, there is a chance you don't recover your previous capabilities if you wish to give life again.

And end-to-end, If you can't control yourself, or can't accept your actions, than you aren't an adult yet.

I assume only a minority comprehend the extent of such life changing choice.

I am neither pro nor against abortion.

That women are being forced in a significantly higher numbers do nothing to contradict the fact that male sterilization is a more responsible option, if anything it supports the claim since it is well known that the risks of the procedure are higher for women, the inequality observed is not an argument about this being fair but the opposite.

"The major difference in patterns of these two procedures likely reflects the fact that young women are overwhelmingly responsible for preventing pregnancy and disproportionately experience the health, social and economic consequences of abortion bans,

At least the women are choosing the more responsible option..
