Well, masks have been demonstrated (thanks to data obtained during the pandemic) to fight respiratory diseases by other mechanisms as well, this is just another way they could be helping.

Now, a new study published in The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology details a previously unknown way that the immune system attacks viral intruders inside the nose -- and finds it works better when it's warm.

This would be a great study to send to the WHO. They still haven't figured out what masks are for.

Most people are aware that Covid was kicking around in 2020; or at the least, the experts know.

And what relevance does this have to openly lie and misrepresent the current opinion of the WHO as the contrary of what they explicitly recommend?

Again, the current information from the WHO proves your claim that the WHO is not recommending masks is false, why make this false claim if it is so easy to disprove?

You're saying the WHO lied and misrepresented?

No, I am saying that you presented false information about the position of the WHO that was very easy to debunk, your claim was the one that constitute a lie by misrepresenting what the WHO actually recommends.
