Came to Japan to catch up with family two weeks ago. Have already lost 4 pounds. Wasn't just typical Japanese family fare, which pretty much matches what this guy recommends - walking everywhere hasn't hurt either!

Staying fit and lean in my 40's all year round means eating metabolism boosting foods using the right recipes. Easier said than done!

Especially when you have your hands full (work, gym and family). Of course, I am always on a mission to find the best cookbooks out there. So listen, this is not your average fat loss cookbook - it contains TRUE fat burning recipes.

For me, these recipes remove all the guess work with the "at a glance" metabolic nutri-profile so I can easily mix and match my meals. And yes, they are super fast to prepare using everyday foods (with lots of variety) and of course - delicious! http://truehealthreport.com/metabolic-cookbook-review/

I have a problem with diets.

I get hungry.

I would like to share my diet success to you all. I have lost more than 40 lbs last year.

1)Set your ultimate weight goal and calculate your calorie intake for a day. Stick to it.

2)Avoid food that are White in color; flour, rice, bread, sugar, noodles, pasta. Because they are mostly carbohydrate rich food. You make a fist that is equivalent to 1 cup of cooked rice. If you want mashed potato, you can have only a size of computer mouse. Avoid McDonald Big Breakfast with pancakes. It is loaded with high calories (1,400 cal). If you want a slice of pizza, you can only have one slice not more than that. Your WILL power will be challenged and it is not easy. Stick to it.

3)You need to pay attention to food labels more than ever when shopping. You would be surprised to read high sugar in fruit juice. I have changed it to whole fruits to avoid sugar, that is actually better for you.

4) Most importantly, your diet will not be successful unless you consume at least 9g of fiber a day. Eat lots of veggies that are very high in fiber. It is also important to keep your digestive flora in check and balanced with good enzyme such as yogurt, cheese or kimuchi.

5)Keep moving. I walk at least 30 minutes a day.

Well it is very important to keep your healthy weight. If your BMI is over 30, you are obese. If you are over 25-29.99, you are overweight. There have been many studies done recently that one out of 5 people die because of obesity. Obesity is linked to cancer as well.

Good luck! Good luck to me as well as I need to lose another 10 lbs by April 2016. You can do this as I did it.

Thanks. My doctors are all amazed that I have done it. I am also professionally administered by dieticians. I keep my food diary with blood pressure and glucose monitoring data. It takes personal commitment and WILL power to do it. I am ready for 2016 again!
