Studies suggest that ‘hotspots’ for virus that causes Covid-19 are found between the 30 to 50 degree lines of latitude north

Temperature and humidity data might allow scientists to forecast the ‘next’ Wuhan

Subsahara Africa has only a handful of cases, most of them tourists.

This suggests that heat (and perhaps humidity) play a factor.

Wrong. It suggests that most of these nations are hardly doing any testing, due to lack of facilities.

Too dismissive, cobber. Temperature and humidity could be a part of the low count and so could the low number of tests. Another factor among others could be the virus simply hasn’t reached all countries yet.

Too early to dismiss any of these factors.

If heat will stop this problem.......................Singapore will have no corona virius problem.

TARA got there ahead of me. Singapore is not renowned for being very cold but they have significant cases. The simple if uncomfortable fact is that we just do not know very much about this virus and it’s behaviour yet. All the predictions are hedged around with “may” and “might”.

Keep washing your hands folks, don’t touch your face unless you have washed your hands first, and catch it and bin it with a tissue. Still seems to be the best advice on offer.

catch it and bin it with a tissue

And throw it in a trash bin not someone else bicycle basket.

Well, Duterte doesn't seems convinced,
