Zapping and testicles should not be in the same sentence.

Zapping my jewels - no, thank you.

If you just shout loudly at them might it have the same effect?

"Listen up, testicles... NO BABIES"

Guys, a vasectomy is quick and painless. Do that instead.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Go for the vasectomy BUT never never tell your partner. This society would never allow the birth control pill for men. Here it seems the Japanese women FORCE their partners into parenthood.

I don't know about you guys but most of the women here get pregnant within the FIRST year. Now if they know you have had a vasectomy your chances of getting married are slim to none.

When I try to imagine human copulation used only for procreation it just seems so ARTIFICIAL. It's like something you just want to get over with and it's done. You never experience intimacy again. I feel sorry for Japanese. IT's like they are simply sperm donors. The next 20 years of your life is just working to support 2 kids and a wife that's cheating on you.

What a miserable existence. Get the vasectomy today. Stay in the drivers seat of a Porsche...not a family car.

You are right Ben_Jackingoff.

Netninja, I like your thoughts. My present girl friend knows of my vasectomy, and she is glad not to be taking birth control pills. So not all of the women out there want you as a sperm donor, but a great deal do.

With a name like that, I'm not surprised... However, in our case, I'm surprised we actually managed to have two kids.

So who's up for trying this out? Opticians often have those ultrasonic glasses cleaners: simply dangle the old nadgers in one of those for a while and see what happens.

I have a ultrasonic "sonicare" toothbrush, and a glass- would that work?

1 ( +1 / -0 )

All jokes aside, does anyone know what the side effect of this treatment is, if there is any. Years later when they tell you ultrasonics, cause you dangling thing to fall off after three years, what then?.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Ultrasonic glass and jewelry cleaners operate at 20-400 Kilohertz while this treatment runs at 3 MEGAhertz.

Just hope there isn't any risk of damaged sperm with this method.

@Mabo, girlfriends and wives are totally different creatures esp when it comes to sex.

I think vasectomies are great if you are totally certain that you don't want to make kids, but as for being painless....

But it's no doubt a walk in the park compared with childbirth, so some guys should just man up and grit their teeth! Just a shame though. For an ugly guy I make such beautiful kids!

BUT never never tell your partner.

Now that is the most astounding piece of relationship advice I've heard in a long time. I'll assume it was a joke.

Aids, massive debt, vasectomy, sex change etc - I think those things are pretty much in the full disclosure category. Or if you don't fess up, you can't really complain out the outcome later. And if you don't come clean with that, maybe you would make a great next CEO of Tepco.

Back on topic please.

Can people see the ultrasound video on the screen too while they're doing it?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

you just shout loudly at them might it have the same effect?...............................only if you " hum " with an ultrasonic pitch.

After it, you will be like the SPLENDA, you provide a sweet flavor, but FAT FREE!!! LoL!! o_O

I don't mind so much that such a serious topic inspires jokes. I lament the fact that it inspires almost all jokes and some very poor commentary.

I won't be getting this done. I could not handle the schedule of regular treatments it would take, even on a do-it-yourself program. Besides, I would not be willing to lose the disease protection of condoms with anyone who I also am trying so hard not to impregnate. Pull out method is great for steady disease free partners worth the risk of pregnancy though.

And cleo is right. The only guy that ever got suckered into being a sperm donor had his fluids fished out of the trash. As a male, I have near complete control of the fluid injector and the pull out method never failed me when I was with someone special enough to do it. Between that and condoms I have no use for ultra-sounding my testes.

The next 20 years of your life is just working to support 2 kids and a wife that's cheating on you.

But the 20 years after that might well be worth having adult children looking after your elderly ass. And that is what marriage is for anyway; raising kids. Who she sleeps with and who you sleep with is neither here nor there if all parties are being smart.

A lot of Japanese women usually dont even get married until their late 30's.

Myself personally, my husband wants me to have more children. We have 5 now. He doesnt want to cut down there... So this seems to be a logical alternitive. Because its not just procreation on why we get together... But with 5 kids - one mught think so... Except 2 of them were while using protective measures. I thought about me and the knife, but all the hormonal changes and such - would the facial hair be a turn on? Lol!

If ultrasound "depletes" viable sperm. It can't be safe for unborn babies.

This is almost the same as lithotripsy, kidney stone ultrasound treatment. Lithotripsy uses ultrasound waves to "blast" the surface of calcinate stones with 1MHz waves and increasingly more powerful waves (by magnitudes) to percussively destroy the chrystalline structure into powder for urinary release. This treatment seems to stop at 3 MHz which doesn't damage the surrounding structure. Which seems to be everybody's concern.

Alternatively, keep your cellphone in your pants pocket at all times, works almost as well on your libido.

Just a question, when your sperm count goes to zero, do you still have ANY need for sex? It doesn't seem so to me, but what do I know.

Now if they know you have had a vasectomy your chances of getting married are slim to none.

Unless you are honest, and the woman doesn't want to have kids, or loves you so much they are willing to take the chance that a reversal wouldn't be successful. As for slim chances - there are millions of single women in Japan. There's got to be a few that would marry a guy with a vasectomy. But could you marry a 22yr old, say you really want kids one day, when you don't? They could probably sue you for that.

If it's just sex you want, then just tell people you've had a vasectomy, never want to get married or have kids and just want to be free. Plenty of women want to date someone like that.

Wonder what this might say about the safety of ultrasound as generously dosed on unborn babies especially with the fancy long and recreational 3D imaging sessions?

The One World Government types want to reduce the world population. Welcome to one of their new methods.

vasectomy is quick and painless. Do that instead

Um ... why? The procedure in the article is a reversible process, which means ultrasound exposure = "safe".

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

never never tell your partner

Better idea, be open and honest with your partner. Works out way better in the long run.

Here it seems the Japanese women FORCE their partners into parenthood.

Yeah right, they force you to put your unprotected manhood into dodgy situations. I wonder why there isn't more coverage of all these male rapes in the crime section on JT.

Stay in the drivers seat of a Porsche...not a family car.

Yeah 'cos driving around alone in a souped-up expensive car is so much better than being part of a warm, loving family ..... not.
